Woodshop SUMMER CAMP 2012

Our Summer Camp is the perfect activity for a fun filled summer with plenty to do. Exercising both mind and body participants will learn by doing and take away important skills that become life long tools. All levels welcome, from beginning to advanced!

5 weeks of Woodshop fun!
Every day at wood camp, children undertake exciting projects as they design and construct their own models and structures. Kids' of all ages love to build. There is a pride and sense of accomplishment when making something with your own hands and watching it progress, as it is meticulously crafted. Kids are no different. Building something for themselves or as a gift for another is something they will gladly take time from TV to do.
Woodworking helps develop small motor skills, coordination and confidence, the ability to concentrate and safety techniques. Under professional supervision, use of tools, measurement and workmanship is learned. Each class is planned in detail. We go over safety, use of some tools. The children learn to follow directions and are guided to think for themselves. We accommodate children ranging in age from 7 to 14 years. This camp will take place in the lunch shelter. All materials are included in the fee.
